SCULPTURES IN THE VINEYARDS
Between October and January each year there are six outdoor sculpture exhibitions throughout the Wollombi Valley. Australian artists present a myriad of differing concepts and aesthetic intentions every year.
The winner of the 2010 Gate Gallery Acquisitive Sculpture Award was Rudi Jass for his sculpture “The Seed Pod”.
During Sculpture in the Vineyards the Gate Gallery features an indoor exhibition of small sculptures by participating artists in addition to their site specific works. The theme of the exhibition at lavender Gate Farm this year is VESSELS.
