The Gate Gallery and Sculpture Garden are located within the grounds of The Lavender Gate Farm in the Wollombi Valley, 2 kilometres from Wollombi Village. Wollombi is 130 kilometres, a 2-hour drive, from Sydney.

Wollombi can be accessed from Sydney via the F3, taking the Calga/Peats Ridge exit.  Turn left for Peats Ridge Road.  Continue on to George Downes Drive and Great North Road until Wollombi.  Turn right into the main street of the village and continue on for 2 kilometres. Lavender Gate Farm is located on the left side of the road from the village.

Alternately, Wollombi can be accessed via Cessnock travelling west along Wollombi Road.
